The Federal and NSW Governments are providing support to keep businesses afloat during the COVID-19 crisis. Announcements of grants are made regularly so it is important as a business to keep on top of current grants that are still available. For your ease of reference, we have identified the below grants that are still active and could be able to assist your business. Note, the first two are new grants announced by the NSW Government today.
SMALL BUSINESS COVID-19 SUPPORT GRANT

SMALL BUSINESS FEES AND CHARGES REBATE

Provides small businesses with $1,500 for the cost of government fees & Charges. The rebate will be available until 30 June 2022.
Eligibility
Note: Small businesses not registered for GST or with a turnover of less than $75,000 per year will also be able to apply from 5 July 2021.

The rebate can only be used for eligible fees and charges due and paid from 1 March 2021. It cannot be used for fines or penalties.

EXPORT ASSISTANCE GRANT

JOBMAKER HIRING CREDIT

Up to $200 a week |
Incentive for businesses to employ additional young job seekers aged 16–35 year (for hire up until 6 October 2021).

SME LOAN GUARANTEE SCHEME

Australian Federal Government | Provides access to 80% government-backed 10 year loans of up to $5 million. Loans must be approved between 1 Apr – 31 Dec 2021. These loans come with an option of a 24 month repayment holiday.
Eligibility The Scheme is only open to SMEs with a turnover of up to $250 million that were:
Both self‑employed individuals and non-profit businesses are eligible.

The third phase of the scheme will start on 1 April 2021 and run until 31 December 2021.
